The lighthouse at Pemaquid Point is a beautiful site and the cliffs leading up to the grounds the lighthouse sits on are nothing short of spectacular!!! 18 x 24 on heavy linen paper - done with a big 2 1/2 inch brush in a painterly style with gusto and spontaneity.

This is the 4th in a series of "I Am Tree" This was done in a painterly style to sort of replicate the English countryside. The color is somewhat subdued to reflect is beautiful area. 14 x 11 on acid free heavy linen paper.
Yellow and its various shades are some of my favorite colors. Texas is the largest producer of canola in the USA - which surprised me but I guess given the land mass - I'm really not surprised. Having seen canola fields across the USA and in Canada during our year on the RV road brought about my love for the color they can put forth.
Seeing acre after acre of these fields is certainly a sight to be seen!!!
