High Desert Blooms - Monsoon Magic

During the summer monsoon - if it arrives as it is suppose to - the magic that takes place in the deserts is nothing short of amazing.  EVERYTHING BLOOMS - the colors are amazing it is a sight to be seen.  However this does not happen every year as the Southwest goes through some very frequent "droughts!!"

If you are fortunate to see a desert monsoon blooming - it is a sight you will not forget.

Incoming Tide - The Gower Peninsula - Wales UK

Gower or the Gower Peninsula (Welsh: Gŵyr orPenrhyn Gŵyr) is a peninsula in South Wales, projecting westwards into the Bristol Channel, and administratively part of the City and County of Swansea. In 1956, Gower became the first area in the United Kingdom to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Port Isaac Harbor Cliffs - Cornwall England

The program DOC MARTIN which airs on PBS is one of our favorite shows!  The location in England in which it is filmed is Port Isaac - but - the name is changed for TV to Port Wenn.  For those of you who watch it perhaps this painting will have meaning.

18 x 24 - heavy linen paper - large brushes 2 1/2 inch - done quickly in a "semi" painterly style.  The ocean side and country side are both equally very beautiful and the program makes sure it highlights both of these areas.
