Boothbay - Damariscotta - our RV site

Yo my friends,

Well, we went out to eat at King Eider's Pub with our friends Randy and Marsha DeCosta.  Randy is a carpenter extraordinaire!!!!  He worked on our house when we lived in East Boothbay - it was about 110 years old and had the original clap board siding.  Well, Randy replaced all the clapboard siding, as well as some of the rotten sills holding up the house, as well as trim and many other things that I have since forgotten about.  He is an artist when it comes to building things.  We had never met his wife Marsha until tonight and she was absolutely wonderful - not to mention very attractive.  A very friendly and pleasant person - a smile in her eyes and the type of person you meet and instantly like.

King Eider's Pub - great crab cakes!!!!!

Damariscotta is a nice little coastal town, small with quaint stores and the Damariscotta river runs through downtown and empties out into the Atlantic Ocean

It was early - not too many people were awake yet!!!  :>)

Boothbay is also a small town with lots of shops and galleries and a nice harbor as well

Tug Boat Restaurant - an actual tug boat made into part of a restaurant

This the "The Foot Bridge" which spans the harbor and one can walk from one side of the harbor to the other side

And YES the home made fudge is GREAT!!!!!!

We have been at the Lake Pemaquid Campground for almost a week now and will be leaving on Wednesday morning.  It has been a very pleasant stay and I will review the campground in another blog posting.

We have a "peek-a-view" of the lake from our picnic table!

DREAMCATCHER resting for a week

Nice big fire pit - but being from the southwest we do not lite fires in the woods - they can turn into wild fires!!!

This past weekend the park was pretty full - lots of weekend campers and come Sunday morning it pretty much emptied out.
This is a "family" campground with lots of activities for kids and families.

Well hope you enjoyed this blog presentation - as I say we head out Wednesday for the Acadia area of Maine for 4 full days and then we leave for Nova Scotia for a month in the same RV Park.  Woo-Hoo stationary for a whole month - no gas to buy and lots of chances to do some painting for me and writing for Melissa

We will spend our last day here (Tuesday) out at Pemaquid Light which is one of our very favorite places - I still need to post the photos of that area for you folks and will do so soon.

Today was a good day - we got to see Randy DeCosta again after 12 years and we got to meet his wife Marsha which was a special treat for us!

Until the next post - smile at people you meet and say "YO - HOW U DO'IN TODAY!"
This will brighten up your day as well as their day - a win - win situation!!!
