Well, today we meet with the Nexus warranty folks and go over the items to be adjusted, fixed or replaced. We then drive the RV over to the factory where they manufacture the Big Foot leveler system and they are going to install a complete new system. We have high hopes that this will solve all the problems we have been having with this system. Everything you read online and in RV blogs give the Big Foot system very, very high marks and it is considered one of the better systems on the market. I think we just got a bad one and we should be in good condition after today.
On Friday we meet with the slide out folks and discuss the non-working slide out and the associated water infiltration that takes place in both the opened and closed position. I'm pretty well of the mind set that we want a new slide out installed that the current one is not repairable and I think I will insist on this. Also our current slide out has been "CREEPING" out when going down the road and this I feel is a very unsafe happening. So - we feel we will stand firm on take the current one OUT and put in a new one that functions as it should.
The folks at Nexus have been as wonderful as always - we have never seen as company so directed towards "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" they have made this a motto and they stand up to it and you won't leave their parking lot until you are 100% satisfied!!!
Well - off to breakfast - a quick yogurt - got to loose about 5 pounds during our week here!!!
