Well - we are in Elkhart Indiana - arriving mid afternoon today (Tuesday) We did not get a good start leaving Quebec on Sunday as a rain storm came in and delayed us. However we made the time up and arrived here on schedule.
We did not have any WiFi along the way but here at The Elkhart campground we have real good WiFi and cable TV. The first TV in 6 weeks!!!!!! This is the same campground we stayed in when we picked up of RV this past April.
Tomorrow we meet with the owners of Nexus RV and go over the warranty work that needs to be done. Our main purpose for coming back here is to have the levelers and the slide fixed. Nexus has tried to get these fixed when we were in the New England area but there just did not seem to be any qualified RV repair centers back there. So the long and short of it is Nexus suggested we come back to Elkhart and let them fix the problems with these two items.
We will be here for a week and then we fly to Boston and leave on our 2 week trip to England. We'll leave the RV here with Nexus for the repairs. Then we fly back here - pickup our RV - stay a week and then we are on the road again with the final destination being Punta Gorda Florida for arrival 11/1 and a 5+ month stay in various parts of Florida!
Soooo it is good to be back on line and glad to not be driving every day - 7-8 hours per day is just too long!!!!
