Well parts arrived today and some more warranty work was completed. The remaining parts are due in tomorrow and that work should be completed. A few minor items will remain and those should be done tomorrow as well or Thursday.
If all goes well, we should be out of here by the weekend or Monday/Tuesday. We still want to stay around and check out all the repairs/replacements before we leave Elkhart.
We are returning our Magellan GPS system as our experience has been nothing but problems. Basically the 12v charging system cannot charge the battery faster than the GPS uses the battery. Soooooo after about 45 minutes the unit goes dead and has to be charged via 110V. Magellan is aware of this problem but continues to sell the unit.
We will go and get a new GPS - we looked today and liked a Garmin NUVI 2455LM. We hope this will not have any issues - Sam's Club sells it so if any problems, it should be easy to return it The Magellan had a lot of great features to it for RVers but of little use if it cannot run longer than .45 minutes without a full 4 hour 110v charge!!!!
Soooo progress is being made - slowly but none the less everything is moving along!
Most of tomorrow will be spent doing laundry - it's been over 2 weeks since we did laundry and there just are no more clean clothes to wear.
Weather thus far in Elkhart has been wonderful - quite warm during the day and down to the mid 50's at night - had to turn the heat on this morning!!!!!
Later my friends.
